*Note: If you have multiple small projects that do not individually meet the $50 minimum, ask me how we can combine the projects to meet the minimum and save you money! 

Trimming (optional, free service)

Trim off excess backing and batting by following the edge of the quilt top. This does not square the quilt.

Squaring ($15)

Square all four corners using a 90 degree ruler and straight edge. Recommended only if the quilt top was kept very square during construction, otherwise borders or block edges may be lost in the squaring process.

Sewn to the back and top-stitched to the front.

Example: Twin (72" width + 90" length) x 2 = 324 linear inches of perimeter = $97.20

• Customers must provide enough fabric yardage to create 2.5" binding strips.

  • I'm happy to help you calculate binding material needs! 

• Binding must be quilting cotton (no minky or flannel)

• Straight-edge binding only (no scallops or curves)

• No self binding aka "wrap-around binding" from backing material.

Customer provides the necessary fabric yardage for their backing and I will piece it together for them. 

 

Fee can also be assessed if provided backing is too small, needs adjustments, or requires repairs. (Additional fabric costs are the customer’s responsibility.)
